Last night I went out and hooked up w/ Tristan while he was in town. It was great to see him and I am already excited for his return. I am bummed I did not get to see his film played at the festival but I am proud and elated it went so well for him. I miss him being in toronto. I was afraid that his trip through Canada would make him resent the big city living and make him want a calmer pace of life. I was happy to hear him say that this city is home to him.

Toronto is weird like that. resent this city all you want but if you live here you can't help but always return home. It's home. These streets, lights and air is home. So much noise but the people are still polite, a little weird and it's home... I spent a few years hating toronto for being this way.. Now I love it. And Aug 24th it gets better 'cause Tristan will be home!
